Tbilisi State University (Georgia), Samtskhe-Javakheti State University (Georgia), Institute of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology, Vilnius University (Lithuania), and CCIIR- Center of Civil Integration and Inter-ethnic Relations (Georgia) are pleased to announce the sixth international conference on Second Language Teaching/Acquisition in the Context of Multilingual Education (SeLTAME 2025).

The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with the in-person sessions taking place at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgia. 

  
The conference will be held  on 24-25 October 2025.
 
Conference Aim
The conference seeks to explore current concepts, achievements, approaches, and strategies in second language teaching within the broader framework of multilingual education. It offers a platform for educators, researchers, and policy-makers to engage in knowledge exchange and collaborative discussion
 

Conference Main Topics:

  • Multilingual Education: theories and Practices and CLIL;
  • Language Policy Planning and its Role in Multicultural and Second Language Education;
  • Methods and Strategies in Second/Foreign Language Teaching;
  • Key Issues in Intercultural and Multicultural Education;
  • Distance and Online Learning, Multimedia in Language Teaching;
  • Classroom Management in Diverse and Multilingual Contexts
  • Sociocultural and Pragmatic Aspects of Language Teaching

Panel session: Presentation of Teaching Materials and Supplementary Resources.

Notification of acceptance:  August 17, 2025

 

Conference Fee:

  • Main Presenters: 100 GEL

  • PhD Students: 70 GEL

Online Participation:

  • Main Presenters: 70 GEL

  • PhD Students: 50 GEL
